JOB OPENING: Contract Lead Assessor
STANDARDS: ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS 9100
REPORTING: Operations Manager
JOB PURPOSE: To carry out certification and surveillance activities in connection with the various schemes operated by the NSAI.
• Auditing client facilities for registration and routine surveillance to assess their conformity to the associated management system standard
• To conduct the above audits and prepare the associated documentation in accordance with all NSAI procedures
• To communicate with assigned clients and NSAI staff to ensure efficient audit planning and timely resolution of questions and non-conformities
• To keep abreast of technology and regulatory trends affecting certification
• To promote and project the Certification/Inspection service through the dissemination of information by correspondence, lectures and publications or otherwise as the opportunity arises
• To maintain strict confidentiality of matters relating to client work at all times.
* To undertake travel throughout the US and abroad to evaluate applications for Certification and Registration Schemes operated by NSAI
• To perform any other duties as may be required by the Operations Manager in accordance with the conditions of service of employees
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to people at all levels within and outside the NSAI
• Ability to write clear, concise reports
• Ability to work on own initiative and to work as a team member
• Presentation skills which are required for promotion of NSAI
• Degree or equivalent in Science or Engineering discipline with a minimum of five years experience
• A qualification as Lead Assessor of Quality Assurance and/or Environmental Management Systems
